Uganda, UK, South Africa and Ghana to make joint evaluation week

 

Uganda, United Kingdom (UK), South Africa and Ghana are scheduled to make joint five-day evaluation week which will opens on March 4th, 2013 in Kampala.

The review will draw experts from Benin, Colombia, Pakistan, Rwanda, Fiji, and Mexico according to Uganda’s assistant commissioner for monitoring and evaluation, Timothy Lubanga.

He says the joint review will help Uganda to identify areas of improvement in service delivery. The evaluation week will also be attended by the permanent secretaries, chairpersons of local governments and resident district commissioners.

Experts from UK, South Africa, Ghana, Benin, Pakistan, Fiji and Mexico will discuss best practices in evaluation of Government programmes. According to Lubanga, Uganda would benefit from the experience of other states.
