Why lightening killed primary teachers in Uganda?

The residents of Mwalo village council in Bukomansimbi in greater Masaka district spent the whole of today in shock after two primary school teachers of Kyabagoma Muslim Primary School were killed by lightening and others survived with injuries.

The dead teachers have been identified by police as Karim Kisseka and his counterpart Joseph Mukasa. The teachers who survived the incidence with injuries include Trinity Musoke who is admitted in Masaka district hospital in critical condition.

The police spokesman for Southern Region, Noah Sserunjogi says that eight pupils were also admitted at MasakaHospital.

Reports of death by lightning are so common in Uganda and there is no scientific explanation on this.
