Civil society organizations have accused government of failing on many of its promises last year
They cite issues like the promise for the youth fund and pupils lunch at government primary schools across Uganda.
Reviewing the year 2012 , the CSOs also said it was full of corruption and intimidation of members of parliament.
According to retired bishop Zac Niringiye, close to 500 billion was lost to corrupt officials in public services.
Niringiye further says in the same year parliament faced harassment and intimidation from the executive over some controversial debates such as the Oil debate, the budget approval and the death of former Butalejja woman MP Cerina Nebanda.
Bishop Nirigiye says this year’s resolution is to continue with the fight against corruption and the restoration of the presidential term limits.
