Uganda government burries dead animals in coffins

It looks so funny but it is true. The authorities in charge of wild life in Uganda accord chimpanzees and other key wild animals’ decent burial ceremonies. They bring in bishops to pray for the dead animals and give moving speeches.

The office in charge of burying animals in Uganda is the Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Trust (SWCT).

SWCT executive director Lilly Ajarova says they give animals a decent burial after a post-mortem report from experts from Makerere University comes out. She says that Uganda has love for wildlife.

She says that their authority is always in anguish after finding out that an animal like a chimpanzee has died.
