Chinese buy dead babies

Africans in Uganda and different parts of East Africa have discovered a lucrative business in dead babies. There is a group of Chinese that buy dead babies reportedly for a delicacy. The market for dead babies and aborted babies is not that open but only through agents as African governments prohibit such unusual trade.

It is not yet known whether the Chinese who buy these bodies in Kampala are cannibals or it is a Chinese culture to eat dead babies. There several stories in Africa of people digging into graves and walk away with bodies.

But the Chinese community in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania among other East African countries when contacted dismissed reports that they eat dead bodies.

However, one of the Chinese on Mukwano Arcade in Kampala, who declined to be named in this story, confirmed that there is a group of Chinese who feast on dead babies. This Chinese says that the practice is common among some Chinese communities in China. But it is difficult to identify who exactly eats dead babies.

The Chinese further clarifies that the Chinese culture prohibits killing babies for a delicacy. He says that even in China, a parent whose baby is dead may decide to burry it or to find someone who may eat it and pays money. The development has come at a time when the police in Uganda had just arrested a doctor who had been selling aborted babies.
