Like in our earlier news reports on the businesses owned by president Museveni and his family members, in this one we examine the businesses owned by his wife Janet Museveni, his son Muhoozi Kainerugaba and his brother Salim Saleh. The businesses owned by Saleh, Janet Museveni and Muhoozi include:

Umeme: It is owned by Muhoozi Kainerugaba although he hides behind South Africans. Uganda Telecom is also owned by Muhoozi Kainerugaba and late Libyan president Col. Muammar Gadaffi.
Orient Bank is owned by Foreign Affairs minister Sam Kuteesa. But he hides behind Kampala business tycoon Sudhir Rupereria.

Museveni’s brother Salim Saleh is behind Air tel. He also owns Akamwesi Hostel in Wandegeya. He owns it together with former Agriculture minister Hope Mwesigye.

Museveni’s wife Janet Museveni owns J & M Hotel on Entebbe road, Greenland Towers, Roofings Ltd on Entebbe road and Malaysia Furniture in Kampala…
