UNEB postpones release of PLE exams

 

 

Uganda Finance ministry has released 6.56 billion shillings to the ministry of education to facilitate the marking of Primary 7, Senior 4 and Senior 6 examinations.

This was contained in a letter dated January 2 and was addressed to the permanent secretary of the ministry of education, Dr. Rose Nassali.

The finance ministry released the money after a request by the education minister, Jessica Alupo, for additional 6.56 billion shillings to cater for examination expenses.

Jessica Alupo confirmed that the finance ministry had released the money.

The money has reached the education ministry’s bank accounts in Stanbic Bank.
