Sri Lankan deligation in Uganda

 

 

A deligation of 18 people from Sri Lanka led by the First Lady of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri-Lanka, Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa has visited chidren homes in Uganda.

Other members of the Sri Lankan group in Uganda on invitation of president Museveni’s wife Ms Janet Museveni include the High Commissioner of Sri-Lanka to Uganda Velupillai Kananathan and the Director General Africa Division in Sri- Lanka’s Ministry of External Affairs Aruni Ranaraja.

Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa together with Mrs Janet Museveni have visited Masuliita children’s Home in Wakiso District and laid a foundation stone and unveiled the Plan for the construction of Masuliita Vocational Training Institute.

Ms Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa also inspected a medical camp by a team from Sri Lanka for the children and community of Masuliita.
