Tens of people are stranded at in KalangalaIslands after Engine failure in the midst of water by a newly replaced Ferry from Entebbe to Kalangala Island, Uganda.

Uganda Police is carrying out the rescue mission with just one life saving boat carrying only 5 people at a time on the waters of SeseIslands. Most of the victoms look frightened.

Most of the victims were sailing from Nakiwongo in EntebbeMunicipality on the mainland to Kalangala District. Kalangala Police Commander, Samuel Mission, confirmed that they have received distress calls from the occupants and they have alerted the Marine which is moving towards the scene to rescue them.
