Islamic University in Uganda to graduate students

 

The Islamic University in Uganda is scheduled to conduct its 21st graduation ceremony on Saturday at the university’s headquarters in Mbale. The academic registrar Musa Kasiita says that over 600 students will receive their degrees, diplomas and certificates in different academic disciplines.

Kasiita says all parents, graduands and visitors must dress according to Islamic codes to be allowed to attend the graduation ceremony.

“No graduands, parents and all invited guests shall be allowed to attend the graduation ceremony with fire arms, large bags, radio calls, cameras, pipes/cylindrical objects, packed items including foods/drinks or any other gargets decribed as dangerous to life,” he emphasized.
