Fully-Funded Sports Coaching Fellowship.

 

 In the Sports Coaching Project in Hamburg 12 Fellows from various different countries will learn from their Project Friend Jens Lehmann how to use soccer and other sports to engage girls and boys in their home countries.

If you are aged between 18 and 28, love sports, enjoy working with children and teenagers and want to help them and their communities by promoting their confidence, self-awareness, tolerance, team-spirit and joy through sports, then apply now for our project!

Hands-on Project Work

As a Fellow you will learn hands-on about the tools and techniques of sports coaching, youth organizing and tournament planning from your Friend Jens Lehmann and other experts.

You will spend an intense time with your Friend Jens Lehmann at the kick-off of the project and again at the end of the project when you present your results.

You will benefit from his experience and learn from him about the beneficial role sport can play in the lives of young people and communities.

Over the two months you will then spend time with experts, activists, and professionals who will share their knowledge and experience on a variety of topics such as soccer and other sports coaching, covering aspects ranging from strategy, training methods to first aid and team management.

During the project, you will also learn about working with children and teenagers and receive talks from social workers and community organizers on topics relating to leadership strategies, conflict resolution, team building, and youth engagement.
