Countries like Ireland which have banned abortion have the lowest maternal mortality according to scientific studies.

But the maternal mortality in the UK where abortion is allowed is double than that of Ireland at 6 per 100,000 in England and Wales compared to 3 in Ireland.

Although the donor countries want to enter abortion into Uganda’s laws, it seems Ugandans are not ready to support this.
