Uganda’s ruling political organisation, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) has canceled out its national youth league that was due to take place at Mandela International Stadium (also known as Namboole stadium).

The Deputy NRM spokesman, Ofwono Opondo has clarified that the National chairperson of NRM Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has not called a National Youth League conference at Namboole on 24/4/14.

Other NRM sources told us that the meeting was called by the supporters of Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi. But president Museveni canceled it on hearing about it.
