This Reach Up programme by the Digital Opportunities Trust (DOT) Uganda will have graduates placed in their different communities they are familiar with.
The country Director of Digital Opportunities Trust, Natalie Kimbugwe says these graduates will provide technology, business and skills training opportunities and act as leaders of change in their communities.
The Digital Opportunities Trust is based in Canada. Its founder in Uganda and Director, Janet Longmore says the moment Uganda’s graduates are empowered they can transform lives of people in their respective communities.
Longmore says Digital Opportunities Trust believes that technologies can help unleash opportunities no matter where one is and young people can be enabled to exercise their passions and talents.
