Estonia to build tourism information centre to market Uganda

Municipal Council of Entebbe (Uganda) in partnership with the Estonian foreign ministry is drafting plans of setting up a tourism information centre to market Uganda as key tourism destination.

The board member of Tallin Development and training Centre in Estonia, Kalle Sepp says Uganda is a beautiful country but Ugandans are keeping its beauty a ‘secret’.

The Republic of Uganda earns $1.6 million from tourism per year while Estonia earns $2.6 million yet Estonia doesn’t have the beautiful amenities Uganda has.

Tourists coming to Uganda currently find it a problem because there are no clear websites describing Uganda.

Most websites only talk about mountain gorillas and national parks in Uganda yet Uganda has quite many things that can impress tourists. Most websites on Uganda don’t show maps of villages, towns, transportation, attractions, museums, sightseeing tours, accommodation facilities, cultural sights, dining and wining, shopping malls, and general information about Uganda.
