Civilians in South Sudan pin UPDF on killings

 

A personal rivalry between President Salva Kiir and Dr. Riek Machar has seen the people of South Sudan divided and killing each other along ethnic lines. The members of Kiir’s Dinka tribe openly kill members of Machar’s Nuer tribe.

The war started on December 15th, 2013 in South Sudanese capital city, Juba.  Tens of thousands of lives have been killed by president Museveni’s UPDF soldiers, South Sudan government soldiers and the rebels with over 1.5 million people forced to flee their homes. Museveni sent UPDF to Sudan to save the despotic Kiir government from being over thrown by the South Sudan rebel liberators.

The civilians in South Sudan recount how UPDF and South Sudan government army troops raid houses and shoot armed civilians at rondom.

The people of South Sudan narrate how they see UPDF and government soldiers and rebels enter their houses and kill the people they find.
