Shebab leaders speak on Nairobi attacks

The Republic of Kenya has been targeted by the Shebab terrorists since Kenya sent troops to war-torn Somalia in 2011. At the beginning of May 2014, three people were killed and 86 wounded in twin bus blasts in Nairobi that were blamed on Al Shabaab Islamic militants. The Shebab/Al Shabaab terrorists are linked to Al-Qaeda movement.

On Thursday and Friday this week thousands of British tourists were evacuated from Kenya, especially in Mombasa due to increasing cases of terrorist attacks.

On Friday over 10 people were killed and more than 70 injured in two explosions in Gikomba market in the Kenyan capital Nairobi according to Kenya’s National Disaster Operation Centre says.

The National Disaster Operation Centre says that first blast targeted a 14-seater public minibus, and the second was inside Gikomba Market. The Shebab fighters are yet to confirm their involvement in these bomb attacks on Nairobi Kenya. The people of Kenya have pleaded with President Uhuru Kenyatta to withdraw its troops from Somalia.
