The Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) will recognise the top brands of people with quality excellence in Uganda. The recognition, the second of its kind after the inaugural one held in 2012, was announced this week by the director of PSFU, Gideon Badaggawa. Badaggawa says the nominations for the awards closed on Wednesday.

The awards will honour firms in the categories of agriculture, banking and finance, insurance, engineering, energy, ICT, manufacturing and conversion issues, skills, health, education, media and professional organisations, tourism, transport, haulage and trade and commerce. The voting began last week via SMS platform where the public will send messages with codes to vote their choice.
