Rotarians warn Deputy Parliament speaker Oulanyah on discipline

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah has been admitted into the Rotary Club of Kampala Central. He was admitted into the club during the installation of Rotarian Emmy Kweregamba as the President of the Rotary club of Kampala central at a function held at Hotel Africana in Kampala.

The Past District Governor of Rotary District 9211 Stephen Mwanje says Jacob Oulanyah was considered because his qualities fit the membership of the world wide community of Rotary.

The Deputy Speaker is urged to recognise the obligations that come with being a Rotarian and welcome them as opportunities for service. Oulanyah says he was delighted to have been admitted into the Rotary movement and promised to uphold its motto of ‘Service above self’.

The Deputy Speaker donated US$1000 to the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. He is the second honorary member of the Club after Professor Fredrick Kakooza.
