Makerere University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, with Al-zahra University.

The Memorandum of Understanding will witness the two Universities collaborate in a number of areas.

The areas Makerere University and Al-zahra University intend to collaborate in include student and staff exchanges, Research partnerships and Curricula development.

The Memorandum of Understanding is geared towards sharing experiences and knowledge from the two universities and extending their contributions internationally, especially in science disciplines.

The Vice Chancellor of Makerere University Prof. John Ddumba-Ssentamu says the partnership is a fulfillment of Makerere University’s core functions.

Makerere University reaches out to the communities to seek their involvement in coming up with programs that best address the respective needs.
