Government donates to Erias Lukwago

It seems Uganda government can give you with one hand and then takes away with another hand. The state gave Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago police men to give him protection when he became the Lord Mayor of Kampala.

The same government used Kampala district leaders to impeach Lukwago. But the same government did not withdraw its police men from him.

Lukwago goes to radio stations and the police men escort him. Lukwago says this is not done against his will.

The sources in government told us that the state doesn’t want to withdraw its policemen from Lukwago until the embattled former Kampala Lord Mayor loses the court petitions he filed in courts.
