FDC youths storm police to demand for their pigs under police custody

The two FDC youth who had been arrested recently by the army and the police at parliament of Uganda with two yellow MPIGS, Norman Tumuhimbise and Mayanja Robert had been released on bail after spending one week in police cells and two weeks in Luzira prison.

These young men were released after their lawyers Asuman Basalilwa and Isaac Kimaze presented Mwijukye Francis, Ingrid Turinawe and Asaph Ntanda as substancial surerities.

After their release the two young men said they were proceeding to the Parliamentary Police to demand for their yellow pigs.

However the police leadership on Monday claimed that it was preparing to sell off the pigs because they had become costly to the force in terms of feeding them.
