Uganda police arrests two men for fighting against corruption

 

Uganda police have arrested two men for fighting against the rampant cases of corruption in Kampala government. It is now almost a practice in Uganda for police to arrest and prosecute people who come out publicly to fight corruption.

Norman Tumuhimbise and Robert Mayanja were arrested on Wednesday two. This is the second time police is arresting these two men for having joined the struggle to fight against corruption.

Norman Tumuhimbise and Robert Mayanja were arrested by police at City House in Kampala after they had addressed the press about corruption in Museveni’s government. Last month, Tumuhimbise and Mayanja beat security at Parliament and took in the piglets, painted yellow, in protest of corruption and extravagant spending by government officials. Ends
