Makerere University teams up with other African universities in research

 

Makerere University is a member of the Consortium of Advanced Research Training in Africa (CARTA).

Makerere University Kampala through its Directorate of Research and Graduate Training (DRGT) is hosting the Faculty and Administrator Workshop at its main campus.

The Consortium of Advanced Research Training in Africa Initiative aims at strengthening doctoral training, and developing the institutional capacity of participating universities to conduct internationally-competitive, cutting-edge research.

The Consortium of Advanced Research Training in Africa training goes a long way in supporting Universities in Africa.

The project offers African universities high-quality research capacity.

The Consortium of Advanced Research Training in Africa took place on 21st July 2014 and brainstormed on the critical role of incentives in sustaining the interest to publish.

A number of universities and colleagues from Kenya, Nigeria, Malawi, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana, and South Africa participated in the training.
