American girls want Uganda to change the name of Murchison falls. They wonder why Uganda had to change some of the names of the national parks.

The girls say that many Americans can hardly pronounce the name Murchison falls. They say that Americans are not interested in knowing who Murchison was.

Interesting, these American girls when they come to Uganda they are keen in knowing more about Kabalega. And of course the big thing for American girls and all Americans in general is visiting River Nile, a river they read about in the bible. For them, visiting River Nile, is something so big; they get excited when they cruise on the Nile.

Experts now think that it is high time Uganda revisited some of the names of these national parks. Perhaps, some names don’t make much sense to tourists. Imagine, if Murchison falls was renamed River Nile national park or given back its original name, Kabalega national park.
