2016 Presidential hopeful Prof. Venacious Baryamureeba says that president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni should facilitate a peaceful transition of power to a young generation to avoid a precedent of a Ugandan president dying in office because of old Age.
Quoting Psalms chapter 90:10, the former Makerere University Vice Chancellor Baryamureeba, said that President Museveni at his age, above 70, should be retiring just like the case is in the public service.
Baryamureeba said this while launching his presidential campaign road map in Bugolobi.
Baryamureeba, who comes with a 12 points programme fronting addressing of youth unemployment, poverty eradication, Education among others, says that though he has never served in the army he can unplug President Museveni’s Army-propelled leadership from power.
