Youth call parents and guardians to encourage children in vocational skills

YOUTH under Generation for Growth and Development call parents and Guardians to encourage children to take up vocational skills as they get academic knowledge. This as the youth were unveiling a mindset project known as chinalizing Uganda, intended to create jobs for youth in Kawempe as pilot area and later in other parts of the country .

While speaking at the launch the Director Generation for Growth and Development Twaha Sendagi said that youth should get time for training in vocation skills to add on chances of getting jobs quickly after formal education.

Sendagi said that parents should also develop a culture of saving for their children as early as in their mothers’ womb. Generation for Growth and Development introduced to youth projects which include soap, polish and book making which are going to sell to schools .
