“My children went to graze the goats and some disappeared, so when they went back to graze two days after, they found one dead. They brought it home, skinned it and prepared it for dinner. They first ate all the internal organs and by 8.00pm, they started complaining of abdominal pain while vomiting and having severe diarrhoea,” he said.
Lamiyo Sub-County LC111 chairman, Mr Tonny Ocaya, said the victims had consumed meat of the goat that had died mysteriously.
“After the meal, they all started vomiting while complaining of stomach-ache before they were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment,” Mr Ocaya said.
