Youth activists are calling upon the government to come up strongly on job creation for the majority of the unemployment youth in the next financial year.
At least 20% of fresh graduates are reported to be employed in the formal sectors while 80% are said to be unemployed / Jobless or have chosen to become job creator.
On Wednesday June 8th, the ministry of finance and economic planning will be reading the countries national budget 2011-2012.
The executive director youth Emmanuel Kitamirike says the recent protest have had a section of youth get involved due to lack of employment.
Kitamirike notes that present employment and financial support to young entrepreneur will greatly contribute to curbing down active participation in protest and boost economic growth.
