The former presidential candidate in the just concluded elections Retired Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye Warren Kifife has been summoned by police to explain the elections irregularities he mentioned.

After elections declaration by the Electoral Commission that announced Museveni the winner with 68.4% and Besigye with 26%, Besigye told the press conference that Museveni rigged the votes.
Besigye, who was handling a bundle of pre-ticked ballot papers for President Museveni said that they (ballot) were the evidence that elections were not free and fair.
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has called Besigye to give more clarifications of words uttered to the media and explain where he got the pre-ticked ballot papers.
Besigye is the President of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) and is the main challenger of President Museveni of the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
