MPS on the public accounts committee have grilled Kampala city council authority executive director Jennifer Musisi over the salary structure of KCCA.
The executive director Jennifer Musisi had appeared before the committee to answer queries of the auditor general concerning the Structure of the organization.
The auditor general was concerned that lack of adequate staff may affect service delivery in Kampala.
The mps say that unless KCCA reviews the salary structure of KCCA, the public service cannot recruit more staff at the authority.
The vice chairperson of the committee Paul Mwiru says the in qualities at the authority are a result that public service was not involved in the organization structure of KCCA yet it’s their mandate.
Ntungamo municipality Mp also former KCC Councilor Yonah Musinguzi has pinned the executive director of KCCA Jennifer Musisi for using clandestine means to recruit staff at KCCA.
Musinguzi who is also a member of the public accounts committee made the allegations before Musisi who had appeared before this committee.
The legislator shocked his colleagues when he said that he has evidence which he will present before the committee
