A group of Muslims attached to Kibuli mosque in Kampala have said that there is a clique that wants to finish up Islam in Uganda using different tricks.

While at the Ijuma (Friday) prayer at Nakasero Mosque, Sheikh Hassan Ibrahim Kirya the Speaker at Kibuli Mosque said that a clique of people is using Muslims to sell off Muslim properties such that they suffocate the religion of Allah.
Amidst chants of Allah Akbar (God is Great) Kirya urged Muslims to stand on their Allah to fight for their properties whether it means losing life.
Kirya was reacting to the saga at the Nakasero mosque that one Mustafa Kafero wants to demolish claiming the land on which the mosque is built to be his. He asked government to intervene and solve the problem.
Kirya is part of a the Kibuli faction of Muslims led by Mufti Sheik Zubair Kayongo that accuses the Mufti of Uganda Sheikh Shaban Mubajje of selling a mosque on William street in Kampala and other properties.
