NMS probes ghost health centres

The National Medical Stores in conjunction with the Ministry of Health are investigating reports that there are non existing health centres that are receiving government drugs.

There are over 3,000 government health centres that receive public drugs from National Medical Stores.

The General Manager of National Medical Stores, Moses Kamabare says non existent health facilities available in most of the districts.

The registration of health centres in Uganda is done at the recommendation of host districts officers.
