The Prime Minister of Uganda Prof. Apollo Nsibambi has said the government is determined to relocate the Bududa landslide victims from Bududa to Kiryandongo.

He has told journalists in Kampala today that each family of the Bududa landslides victims will get 2.5 acres of land in Kiryandongo district.

However the landslides victims in Bududa have vowed to disobey the relocation exercise. But Nsibambi urges the victims to accept the relocation exercise saying it is for their own good.

Nsibambi says the government will feed the landslides victims for six months and help them to build their new homes. The professor says the government will use 20 billion shillings in carrying out the exercise.
