Karamoja cattle farmers appeal to their minister Janet Museveni

Karamonja cattle farmers are concerned with ever increasing fuel prices something they say has affected their cattle sale.

The farmers mainly from Kabong and Kotido district say a cow which used to be sold at 300000 shillings has now been increased to 400000 shillings because this increment businessmen say they can’t afford the high rates on the cost of high fuel price.

A little of petrol is some fuel pump has reached 4500 shillings in many parts of the country.

The Karimojong have given the minister in-charge of the Karamoja region, Janet Museveni two weeks to attend to their concern.
