MPS have viewed the video showing the way how Dr. Kiiza Besigye was brutally arrested by police in the incident criticised by many people.

Both the opposition mps and government showed the separate video of Besigyes brutal arrest because the opposition thought that the government video footage was doctored and not telling all of what transpired during Besigye s arrest.
The opposition mps condemned the actions of CID officer Gilbert Arinaitwe against Besigye while arresting him.
The FDC secretary General who is the woman mp for Soroti district Alice Alaso said that accused RPC KAMAPALA Grace Turyagumawe of being found of sparking riots in the country because he was the one who sparked 11th September riot when he stopped the katikiro of Buganda from accessing Kayunga.
She alleged that Turyagumanayo is the one who ordered the spraying of Besigye with pepper and tear gas and getting severe beats.
She told parliament that Besigye was un conscious for 50 minutes when he was taken at kasangati police post and she revealed that 6 people were knocked by police vehicle which was taking Besigye to kasangati .
She said that even if Dr. Besigye is killed, the issues causing the people to demonstrate will remain and she asked government not to drive the country into destruction.
The mp for Makindye West Hussein KYanjo demanded government to release a report showing the number of people who were killed by police during the arrest of Besigye and he said that When the CID officers are arresting the people they should be with warrant of arrest.
The minister of information Kabakumba masiko and the minister of state for Animal industry Bright Rwamirama defended the actions of CID Officer Gilbert Arinaitwe against Besigye ,saying that Arinaitwe carried his duty legitimately and she denied claims that Besigye was arrested on orders.
The minister of state for karamoja Janet Museveni said that its unfortunate for a leader like Besigye to show behaviours that have had many people suffering and she said that Besigye is incompetent leader.
