Banyoro Batooro Medical Union gets new leadership

The newly sworn in Union chairperson for the Banyoro Batooro Medical Union Mumba Ernest has pledged unity and cooperation so as to increase the Unions membership.

Speaking during the swearing and handover ceremony of the Union’s leadership, Mumba said that the Union was initiated with an aim of increasing the number of doctors in the region and promoting the African culture.

He urged members to be committed and focus on what they want to achieve in life by not living a reckless life. Ernest highlighted some of the challenges in the union as lack of income and the poor membership of students.

Ezra Vincent the deputy principle Buhinga School of Clinical Officers who also attend the function pledged to cooperate and support the union.

The other members that were sworn are Mustimenta Cosy as the treasure, Ruhweza Richard as the speaker and Ocaki David as the publicity secretary.
