A man believed to have been conning patients at Mulago hospital on the pretext of being a medical doctor has been arrested by the Police this morning.

Tom Muwanga Ssali a resident of Kawaala in Kampala is said to have been appearing at the hospital fully dressed in a white gown as a doctor, approaching patients to pay him in exchange for the service.

Dan Kimosho, one of the hospital officials who arrested Ssali and handed him over to the Polcie has urged patients to be very careful with the people they deal with like Muwanga and others still at large.

He has urged the public to report such people to the Police or the hospital administrators in case they know of any such other characters.

Kimosho says Mulago hospital is free and does not collect any form of money from the public except cases that need special attention involving going abroad for operations which might need some money.
