The ministry of health has set up a special fund to handle any disease outbreak resulting from the various disasters across the country.

Currently some parts of the country are experiencing floods which are likely to cause diseases such as cholera, typhoid, and diahoaria among other.

The ministries public relations officer Rukia Nakamate says 200 million shillings has been injected for the intervention.

Nakamate says the ministry is closely monitoring the suspected areas such as Kwini,Bulambuli and Kaberamaidho among others.
