Lukyamuzi mourns Mukisa, pledges to meet his burial bills

Lubaga south MP, John Ken Lukyamuzi has described the death of Geoffrey Mukisa, the estranged lover of ex-MP for Rubaga south, Susan Nampijja has untimely. Lukyamuzi says his son in law would have lived and face the wrath of law.

Mukisa passed away today morning at Mulago National Referral Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit according to the hospital’s Public Relations Officer, Dan Kimosho.

Kimosho told journalists at Mulago hospital that Mukisa’s condition deteriorated since he was admitted on January 29. The Police spokesman Asuman Mugyenyi has also confirmed Mukisa’s death.
Mukisa has been under guard in Mulago hospital after he was arrested as the main suspect in the attack on former Lubaga South MP Suzan Nampijja and two other people, Shakira Namutebi and Harriet Kisaakye.

It is said that the deceased used a machete to cut Nampijja as she moved out of her car at home. Eye witnesses Lukyamuzi has however pledged to meet the burial expence of Mukisa.
