FDC tongue lashes government over torture

Opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has tongue lashed government over mistreatment of its party members. The leader of opposition in parliament, Nandala Mafabi, who also doubles as MP for Budadiri west (FDC), in his speech on Monday at a joint opposition rally in Budadiri said many Ugandans have lost hope in NRM government and they are frustrated against president Museveni’s regime.

“Millions of people in Uganda are living in a state of frustration, no drugs, infrastructure development is in a mess, poor education policies, and other people are being jailed for trumped up charges,” MP Nandala said.

The MP identified some of the FDC members facing trumped up charges as Ibrahim Kasozi and Harold Kaija among others.
