A traditional healer is wanted by the police for questioning after six mysterious graves were found in his shrines.
Salongo Luninze Kalitulaba a resident of Busemeyi village in Buikwe district is on the run after police and local leaders in the area raided his home where they discovered six graves in the three shrines within his compound.
This was after some members of Luninze’s family who stealthily entered the shrine and saw the graves, alerted the Buikwe district traditional healers association and the police.
By the time the team got to Luninze’s home, locals had torched the shrines and were about to dig up the graves.
They were only stopped by the district police commander Caroline Akoth who said it would be done in the presence of the traditional healer.
Some of the family members who spoke to Journalists said they have never buried any of their relatives in the shrines.
