UGANDA’S URBAN DEVELOPMENT POLICY SOON COMING

The state minister for urban development, Rosemary Najjemba states that govt is soon coming up with the urban development and planning police that will help govt to plan for the development of urban center across the nation in a bid to crate harmony in cities.

 

The minister adds that currently the country has no regulation to govern urban development which has seen the creation of slums in cities.

 

She also goes ahead to confirm that govt has a massive plan to set up better housing for its people at low cost in all towns in the country with the projects being, Naguru housing estate that will soon kick off, Kasoli in Tororo district where the nation will celebrate the global habitat day on 7th October.
