civil society organizations threaten to lodge private prosecution against Mukono doctor.

Civil society organizations dealing in health are considering lodging private prosecution against Dr. Bingi Christopher who negligently caused the death of one  Nankya Florence after failing to help her deliver her baby.
According to Nakibuka Noor Musisi from Centre for Health, Human Rights and Development (CEHURD they are disheartened with the way police has handled the matter creating fears among them that the case might be mishandled depending on the look of things forcing them to opt for private prosecution to have justice realized.
But Mukono municipality MP, Betty Nambooze Bakileke alleges that the wanted doctor is currently being sheltered by one of Mukono police officers instead of presenting the doctor before court adding that govt should come to the rescue of Mukono health system which is in a sorry state.
Meanwhile, the husband to the passed on wife, Mpanga Stephen and her care taker during the time of death,  Namuli Gorette are blaming the doctor for acting un professionally which resulted in the death of the mother and the un bone baby.
But Hon. Haruna Kyayune (Kyotera) and Baka Mugabi Stephen (Bugiri)are castigating the Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson, Ibin Senkumbi for uttering irresponsible statements against the matter which they say call for questioning his integrity and now call for his apology and withdrawal of the statement.
