Uganda Revenue Authority Auctions muscian car

Uganda Revenue Authority is to Auction a car belonging to a local Musician Irene Namubiru if he fails to pay the debt of 20 Million Uganda Shillings to the Tax Body before the end of Friday this week.

Irene’s car was impounded by URA early this week after he failed to pay the tax of 12 Million which later rose to 20 Million Uganda Shillings accrued from her 2011 Birowooza Concert.

URA’ Head of Tax Collection Unit Abdul Salam Waiswa says URA is ready to negotiate with Irene Namubiru if she’s willing to sign the memorandum of Understanding with URA committing herself to pay the money.
