opposition and independent MPS urge ugandans to disregard impeachment of mayor.

A section of mps from opposition, independent and expelled from NRM Party have asked Ugandans to disregard the action by the KCCA councilors yesterday to impeach the lord mayor Elias Lukwago and consider Lukwago as the elected lord mayor of Kampala.
In a press conference they held at parliament mps led by the opposition chief whip Winnie Kizza vowed to force Lukwago back in office as soon as he comes out of the hospital on Friday this week. Track
Mps who include Mathias Mpuga independent, Alice Alaso FDC, DR Lulume Bayiga DP, Paul Mwiru FDC, Rev Jacinto Ogwal UPC, Betty Nambooze DP, Theodore Sekikubo , Barnabas Tinkasimire and Wilfred Niwagaba among others said that the minister for Kampala was just playing games to impeach the lord mayor and they will not accept it.
The mps have asked all Ugandans to rise up and defend the constitution.
