MPS condemned closure of Kampala capital city Authority activities in the city

Some mps have condemned the act by the KCCA Executive director Jennifer Musisi to close down the activities of the Authority.

Yesterday after the court ruling that reinstated the Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago, Musisi announced the closer of the authority, on claims that their efforts to mobilize the public to invade City Hall, supposedly to re-instate Erias Lukwago into office.

Several mps who include Patrick Nsanja independent, John Simbwa NRM and Monica Amoding NRM say that the executive director has no powers to close down a Government institution.

Mps Patrick Nsaja and Monica Amoding have asked parliament to intervene in the closer of KCCA to have the authority deliver services to the people of Kampala.

Makindye east mp John Simbwa demands that the public service disciplinary committee takes action against Musisi and has asked musisi to resign, if she feels she cannot manage this office.
