IGP Kale Kaihura appear before Human Rights committee over police brutality.

Mps on the human rights committee of parliament have forced the inspector General of police general kale Kayihura to take oath after the committee realized that he was lying to them.
The police chief who had appeared before the committee together with the CID Boss Grace Akullu, Kampala metropolitan commander Felix Kawesa and chief of operations in police Grace Turyagumanawe was made to take oath after he alleged that the lawyer who was harassed at KCCA when he had taken a court order to the council was the one who started the chaos after he pulled police officers.
This statement angered members mainly from the opposition who moved a motion to have kaihura take oath before he goes ahead to explain the police involvement in last Monday’s KCCA saga.
Members including Odonga Otto (Aruu county), Wafula Oguttu (Bukoli central), Reagan Okumu(Aswa), Ken Lukyamuzi(Rubaga south) and Fungaroo kaps(Obongi) Latif ssebagala l Kawempe north, Ssemujju Ibrahim Nganda kyadondo east, Sewungu Gonzanga kalungu east became rowdy asking, kasibante moses Lubaga north , Betty Nambooze Mukono municipality, became rowdy asking, orders and procedures one after another.
The mps accused their chairperson Jova kamateha for trying to protect Kaihura from taking oath but she finally made him to swear to say the truth, to honour the member’s demands
