MPS sign petition to censure minister Frank Tumwebaze

Over 20 members of parliament have signed the petition seeking to censure the minister for kampala Frank Tumwebazi for holding illegal meeting with kamapala to remove the lord mayor Erias lukwago.
The petition signatures are mostly form the members of parliament from the opposition side and only one member of parliament of the NRM who is the mover of the motion Abdi Chamaswet signed the petition.
Mps who signed the petition accuse Minister Frank Tumwebaze of undermining court and the constitution when he refused to accept the court order stopping the meeting that impeached the lord mayor by the councilors.
Some of the mps signed include Hassan Fungaroo , Angellina Osege, Betty Aol, Betty Nambooze,Alice Alaso ,Lulume Bayiga, Gerald Karuhanga, Moses kasibante , Wafula Oguttu Joseph Sewungu among others.
Parliament requires 125 members of parliament to consider the petition to Censure minister frank Tumwebaze.
The member of parliament for Kalungu south who is also the secretary General of Democratic party Matia Nsubuga said that he has not signed the petition because he is initiating a dialogue to have reconciliation between the lord mayor and the KCCA executive director Jeniffer Musisi to end the crisis at the KCCA.
