Public accounts committee demand for recruitment of more teachers.

MPS on Public accounts committee demand the education service commission to cause the recruitment of more teachers in schools which are experiencing teachers shortage across the country.
The demand came as MPS were meeting officials from the Education service commission.
MPS Eddie Kwizera , Margaret Kiboijana said that schools are understaffed because the Education service commission has not fulfilled its mandate of pressing government to recruit more teachers.
Mps also pin Education service commission over its failure to advise the president on gaps in the education sector that affect the performance of the ministry of education.
The Secretary of the Education service commission John Geofrey Mbabazi said that the shortage of teachers came after they experience a wage short fall of three billion shillings from the ministry of finance.
MPS asked Education service commission to have a road map and given to parliament to ensure more teachers recruited to reduce on teachers shortage.
